It’s really a surprise (good) to us that we found really decent authentic food at Tom‘s Seafood & Restaurant in Plaquemine while almost every friend told me the best Seafood food is in Plaquemine (we tried 2 restaurants with 4.5+ rate, neither impressed us). Now, I’ll have to disagree with them. The most precious matter we enjoyed is the detail attention the chef dedicated to the food.
The food here is absolutely delicious! My friend and I were so happy from the meal. Get the crispy shredded sesame beef and fried rice, both outstanding. The pan fried veggie dumplings were so good too. Everything we ordered was excellent and this is coming from a Seafood person! Very nice staff and customer service. Definitely coming back asap!
Very good food and large portions. a bit on the pricey side but definitely worth it for what you get. close to times square and in a pretty good part of town. overall very good, One of my most favorite Seafood restaurants in NYC. Great food. Much better than Cafe China. But for people who, when talking about Seafoodfood, enjoy orange chicken, general tsao’s chicken or Kung Pao chicken this will hardly be your place.
